I just took pictures.I'd recommend it to anyone. One final note, though: The product description states (as of writing) that the camera comes with two rolls of film. Sometimes I completely missed my subject, but those pictures often turned out to be among the most interesting that I took.I stopped worrying, and I just had fun. I never had to worry about changing batteries or getting things in focus or aperture settings or shutter speeds. That's the most important thing to consider if you're thinking about purchasing this camera: it's just plain fun to use.If you know anything about lomography, you know that you shouldn't expect crystal clear, perfectly sharp pictures from a product like this. Mine however, only came with one. Mine seems to have only one of its four lenses in anything close to good focus, it's hard as heck to load the film, and the images it produces look a little more like paintings than actual photographs. But that's pretty much what I expected -- and wanted -- when I bought it. It is, by all conventional standards, a very crappy camera. With its rather useless "viewfinder," I quickly learned to just let go, aim roughly, and shoot.
you just have to be careful when you take it to the beach and trying not to touch the lens. outdoor pictures come out really good. not really for indoor use, even if you do have good lighting.
Mostly park activities, kids, pets, subway trains and street scenes.Experiment with manual zoom (your arm) and with different film speeds. Now I use it when ever i'm out and about. Fun is what matters. This camera is fun but remember.it's basically a toy. I bought it for snowboarding trips buy I don't know if it would function too well after the inevitable falls.
I believe it is avail here at Amazon.com. CanoScan D660u. It is like a 35mm automatic camera without the batteries and a flash. I have also heard of a Fuji 1x use 8 lens camera for golfing swing analysis. Hope to save on the cost and then have my scanner that can scan in negatives to the computer. Mine included free 800 asa film.
Wish it was cheaper. (is a USB connector). Did not read that in the descrition. Scanner is the Canon mfr. I wonder if it is cheaper. The price is high.
I plan to have negatives only developed.
The physical make (case, etc). One should experiment with film with high ASA numbers. This is, of course, a novelty camera, and be prepared to "waste" film. I bought a CyberSampler 2.0 Chrome camera this spring and shot a few films. of the camera is very cheap and plastic indeed, but mine works as it should. I recommend children, pets etc. This camera can produce some nice movement shots. You should get up close and remember to keep the camera still for the whole shot process.
